The Netherlands: Golden Jubilee

This last March 8, 2014, 50 years ago, Fr. Jules Habets was ordained priest in Oirschot. He himself led the celebration of his Golden Jubilee in the chapel of the monastery in Schimmert. After the mass, the communities in South Limburg and his family came to congratulate him. A week later he celebrated in the parish where he was born and raised. Fr. Jules had worked as a missionary in Malawi for 36 years. The parish of Wijlre had always supported him. When he returned to the Netherlands, Fr. Jules regularly assisted in the parish of St. Gertrude (and in other places). They also invited him for a special mass to celebrate his golden jubilee. What a great celebration to remember!
