Bro. Federick’s Profession of Religious Vows - News Updates - Montfort Missionaries Philippines

Bro. Federick B. Yumang, SMM has been accepted by the Superior General for re-entry into the Congregation. After a week-long retreat, he made his religious vows as a Montfortian religious again on July 7, 2013 during the Holy Mass presided by Fr. Paul Arnel Lucero, SMM,  Delegation Superior with co-celebrants Fr. Ariel Aquino, SMM and Fr. Francisco Tacio, SMM at the new Postulancy Formation and Cebu Mission House at Lower Calajo-an, Minglanilla, Cebu. It was also attended by the Lay collaborators and the regular Sunday Mass goers of the place. In his homily, Fr. Paul used the image of God as the Potter and the seminarians as the clay. He reminded us to have the attitude like that of a POT and of GOD. He told us to Pray more and more, Obey your superiors and formators (Obedience to the Will of God) and Trust in the Divine Providence (POT). Likewise he asked us to be like GOD: Give generously your time, treasure, talent and total self for the service of the Church, Open to the surprises of life and Detachment from family, self and comfort zones so as to keep our focus on Jesus and the needs of his people.
Before the final blessing, Fr. Paul announced that the Postulancy formation will commence towards the end to this month with five postulants. Rev. Fr. Norwyn Baydo, SMM will be their Postulant Director and he will be assisted by Fr. Francis. He (Fr. Francis), together with Bro. Federick will take charge of the Totus-Tuus programs as well as the apostolates in the Chapel in Talamban, Cebu City.
