Priests Gathering: Meeting, Relaxation and Bonding - News Updates - Montfort Missionaries Philippines

Last June 10, 2013, all the Filipino priests of the Delegation went to Laguna for a day of meeting, relaxation and bonding. Fr. Paul Arnel first re-echoed to the group the matters discussed during the Extraordinary General Council Meeting last May in Fatima, Portugal. Among the many themes he highlighted was on the document: “Protecting the Vulnerable: A Comprehensive Program of Abuse Prevention, Response and Ethical Responsibility for the Fathers and Brothers of the Company of Mary.”  Other important matters were also discussed including the donation of the Chapel in the Mountainous area of Cebu City and the request of Archbishop Socrates Villegas, DD for us to establish a parish in Pangasinan.  News and Updates from the Superior was at the last part of the meeting. After lunch each one had the chance to enjoy swimming. After supper there was a special moment of bonding among the confreres. May God bless more and more our SMM Philippine Delegation.
